We are pleased to announce a partnership with the National Head Start Association (NHSA) to offer a Data Literacy Credential program to the Head Start/Early Head Start workforce nationwide.
Data-driven quality improvement stands to bring unrivaled levels of performance to the Head Start field, and is defined and mandated by the Head Start Program Performance Standards. Leaders and managers who complete this credential signal to their staff and the Office of Head Start that their program is committed to this level of performance.
Developed by Dr. Greg Dixon, Acorn’s Director of Research and Analytics, and grounded in Dr. Greg’s long career as a successful university professor, the program is offered as a series of three courses: The Wonderful World of Data, Understanding Head Start Data, and Foundations of Storytelling with Data. We’ll be using a unique, engaging virtual learning platform, bringing our blend of fun, interesting, and applicable learning methods you know and love, and having each participant develop a “portfolio” that will help them make a big difference in all things data back at their programs.
Courses begin each quarter, with The Wonderful World of Data kicking off on October 19! Spaces are limited, visit The Academy at NHSA to learn more today!
